I just loved the cover. Unfortunately, I just could not get into the novel. For some reason, I got lost as to the plot. Even the characters of Raf and Yas didn't appeal to me.
Not sure if the Raf's family came out from a magical tree, but it seemed like it. And is the ocean gone or just receded? And where is the story headed?
In any event, I didn't care for the excerpt and I'm probably not the targeted audience for this novel.
