Hmm... I'm not sure about this. Something feels a bit disjointed. I believe it is the author's writing style. Using short sentences. Like I'm using now. As an example. It pulls me out of the story. It feels like words bundled together. But the feeling isn't there. Nothing makes me laugh. Or sigh. Or feel. Perhaps I'm just in a mood.
