I am at a loss for words!! This book was so beautiful. It was heartbreaking, gut wrenching, emotional, and traumatic, but with all that it was a story that needed to be told. It was one of those books that may not be a true story but in an alternate reality just imagine if it was. The characterization was so well done in this story. I loved that it came from the points of view of Violetta and Vince because it added to the overall picture of the way the judiciary system was building in this world. Once I picked this up, I could not put it down. I was so frustrated and emotion provoked the entire time reading it. I was not expecting the twist that the story took towards the end, but it really opened up the plot and gave a bigger picture to the family in the end. If you are looking for a quick read that is going to give you all the feels, pick this one up! It is going to be at the top of the lists this year!
