This story will definitely pull you through the emotions! It also gives a lot of insight into what can happen with family, prison, friends and tragedies. You get to see how this character and her family deal with a tragedy and prison and how they will cope and how they will deal with all the decisions and how they will come out of it. You also get to see into some other characters lives a bit when she makes friends with some other inmates and see how their own problems have affected them and how they have to deal with them. Another thing I really liked about this book is how the author put in some of the letters the character receives and how they show some of the letters the characters writes to her sister to show the characters feelings. Another thing I liked was how the author put some of the characters cultures into the story. This book was definitely hard to put down!
