After Violetta's sister, Viv, is killed in a car crash, caused by Violetta driving drunk, Violetta is sentenced to juvenile detention. She begs for her parents' forgiveness, but they believe she must repent. One option is to participate in The Trials which started years ago after a young man killed his sister while wrestling. This should be an interesting look at the justice system, our choices, and the punishment meted out - is it deserved?
