not for me but looks like it would be good for others

The cover of FORGIVE ME NOT is creative and conveys themes of the book. I was interested when I first saw mention of the juvenile justice system though after reading the First Impression, I don't think this is the right book for me. I'd love to see how the topic of forgiveness is fully explored but I can't seem to get past how bizarre the concept of the "Trials" is. Is this a fantasy world? What is happening? It just feels really weird and for such an important topic made me feel like I'd rather read nonfiction or at least fiction rooted in factual information. I'm not the right reader for this book, but I can see how it will be enjoyed by the right audience.
