The description alone feels very heavy to me--the main character's actions result in the death of her little sister. I can also sense that this book will talk about important topics, such a grief and the juvenile justice system (for a Black teen no less).
With that said, I love a story features any and all types of trials, so I would be interested in reading more of this story.
