This story has such a heartbreaking premise but a really important one. I can’t imagine the pain of being the cause of your sister’s death while drunk driving as a teen — the fact that actions have real consequences is a common theme in YA lit, but I can’t think of many stories that tackle things in quite this way. A story I’ll be thinking about for a long time.
