This story is one that will elicit some heavy emotions of grief and forgiveness. I like how the story opened and we can feel the desperation and heartache from the main character right away as details slowly unfurl that she caused a car accident that killed her little sister. Having to deal with that loss, the regret of the choices that led to the event, and a feeling of abandonment from your family are all hard topics this character is set to endure. I loved the writing style and was swept away into the pages.
