A Heart-Wrenching Portrayal of Juvenile Justice

The first look of this novel is so visceral, the descriptions are so vivid I can see exactly what the narrator is talking about as it is described. Violetta is a character you immediately want to root for because there are almost none of us that as teenagers had a decision that went our way when it could have just as easily gone wrong.
