2020 has yet to begin but I have no doubts whatsoever that no other book can bump Followers as my favorite book of the year. Followers is a thrilling ride from page one. Megan Angelo’s writing is superior, in my humble opinion. It’s hard to believe this is her debut novel. I cannot wait to see what she publishes next as I know it will be just as amazing, if not even better than, Followers. This book is a must for fans of Black Mirror, The Truman Show and just in general twisty intelligent well-built dystopians, if that is right up your alley Followers will not disappoint. If all of that didn’t convince you to preorder or purchase on it’s publication date this is Tarryn Fisher’s favorite book of the year, and Miss Fisher is always right.
