I was really intrigued by the premise and the cover of this book. Then one of my favorite book influencers recommended it and I had to read it. I'm glad I did because it was the perfect light read that I needed during quarantine. While the characters aren't always the most relatable, it is an interesting story that has you wanting to read just one more chapter before you put it down. It's what I would normally call the perfect beach or travel read. Since we're getting to the winter, I think it would pair well with a glass or red wine, sweatpants, and a face mask. It moves quickly and will keep you on your toes. Plus the cover looks good on any bookshelf!

I would read this book if you enjoyed any of the following entertainment: Gossip Girl, Pretty Little Liars, the Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, Necessary People, and The Thousandth Floor series. They have similar vibes with an upbeat story line.
