If there is one thing I can say about Followers, it is that it is extremely timely and relevant in the age of social media "taking over the world" - although parts of Followers are set in the future, it is a bleak look at the way things have the potential to be the more dependent we are to rely on our devices and social media.
Normally, sci-fi (if you could even call this that) is not for me but I was very intrigued by this one being set only 30 years in the future which was the reason I picked it up. I did eventually find it a bit too long and lost my attention at times but overall the dual timelines and the plot were interesting. Although this one did not entirely work for me, I would read more from Angelo in the future depending on the subject matter.
