This book actually gave me nightmares. Weird, restless, anxiety filled nightmares. I also couldn’t put it down! I read mixed reviews about this but really enjoyed it. I liked the characters. Yes they were flawed, but isn’t that the point? If you enjoy watching Black Mirror and having that WTF just happened feeling... then this book is for you.
I really enjoyed the two characters POV. I loved how they built up to the insect of the two. The speculative fiction part also got to me. I could see this happening in our world today! What if phones are actually making us all sick? What if the government takes over the internet? These are great questions. I also loved how the social media influence played out!
