I've always loved a good dystopian and this one did not disappoint. Followers had me from the start and I found it impossible to put down. I find the characters to be engaging, witty, sarcastic, and relatable. The non linear timeline and multiple pov were easy to follow.
While reading Followers it reminded me a lot of a modern day Truman Show. It hit me in the feels the same way, too. It shows that we need to really examine ourselves, find out who we truly are and be that person. It's extremely eye opening to the fact that too much of anything is not good. That what you see is not always reality. That being an influencer isn't always as awesome, fun, or glamorous as it my seem to those on the outside.
