The excerpt wasn't enough to get me invested in the characters or the story BUT the sypnosis has me wanting to read this book. The cover... Not so much. I am interested in reading about this "deal" and how it all turns out. I also enjoy a novel with multiple timelines so that draws me in immediately. How will these timelines and characters come together?
