I was ready to like this book. I was ready to lapse back into my younger teenage self and simply enjoy whatever this is. However, this book was not it for me. The characters are really shallow on every level and the writing is incredibly juvenile. I couldn't find it in myself to care about any of them, much less get invested in anything they go through. I think this book would do well at an even lower level than it's written for and not in a cute way. No one reacts like an actual person, the sisters don't talk like sisters or act like sisters. This book tries to be witty and charming in every way it isn't and everything is just trying way too hard to make everything about this more than it is. It feels like one fever dream's worth of a book idea somehow parlayed into a full-length nonsense that somehow got published. This book was definitely not my thing.
