Oooo I really like the overall concept of this story. A bit of magical realism, ghosts, and a love story. The story started out with a lot of energy, Ava needing to rush to her grandmother's deathbed amidst a crazy storm, and even after the action the story still moved quickly. This is an easy read due to the interest of the story, the writing style, and good pacing. I am soooo curious to find out what Ava's blessing is, seriously, it is driving me crazy not knowing, and will definitely be reading the rest!
