YA book about a young girl who is nearly too late to her dying grandmother's bedside. But, she is too late to receive her grandmother's blessing. So when her grandmother appears to her from the grave, Ava is not sure she is truly seeing her. But, then her grandmother tells her that she gave Ava's blessing to someone else, and Ava must get that blessing back. Ava knows exactly who received the blessing because on her way to see her grandmother, she ran her Jeep into his truck. This is a perfect setup for a sweet romance - as Ava is going to have to befriend him.
