I didn't quite know what to expect when diving in but I'm intrigued! Was a little confused at some points and this does read younger YA (so far). I'm also not too sure about how I feel regarding the fact that someone else receives the blessing meant for Ava. But this is a YA rom-com so the direction seems obvious.
I've always been a big fan of magical realism and blessings is a great concept (minus the person having to die part). I'd be interested to read more about how the blessing managed to miss it's mark, how Ava will get it back (IF she even will), how she'll fall in love with that guy she met in the thunderstorm, and how this all ties back to the prologue.
The cover is also super cute! I can tell this will be a feel-good read.
