The stylized cover art does not draw me in, though teenage readers might enjoy the look. This book seems to have elements of first love, family tradition, and magical realism. The first few pages hint to a typical teenage drama with a little bit of family magic. Flirting with Fate is the type of book I might get from the library, but would not invest neither time or money.
