This is a very jauntily-written, fun seeming romcom, despite it beginning (mostly) with the protagonist's grandmother's death. Starting off with the "voice" of Fate in a prologue wasn't exactly my favorite technique, but it seems to have set the tone properly for the remainder of the book (or at least the remainder of this sample). Will definitely read on once the book is released.
