The plot is cute and should be right up my alley - a bit of urban fantasy, contemporary romance, young-adult - but the prose just felt a bit off to me. I think the changes in tense were jarring. Maybe if they just completely got rid of the prologue it would be more engaging. I thought the humor was great and the characters feel realistic. Carmen's sneeze during her blessing gave me the giggles. This feels like a movie I would watch.
