I liked the emphasis that was put on family and how it was highlighted despite this being a romance novel. I hope that is a theme that stays consistent throughout. The books starts off with this omniscient tone I really liked (and kind of hoped would stick throughout) and had an interesting start. I also really liked the cover. Unfortunately though this is not my usual genre that I'm interested in so I wasn't really invested.
