I really enjoyed these opening chapters, especially the strong sense of family, particularly between the three sisters. The supernatural elements were very well done, and the whole thing gave me a Julie and the Phantoms vibe - great pacing, characters you immediately connect with, a little bit of sass, but still with appropriate layers of mourning and sadness and loss.
