This first look set this novel up to be an amazing young adult fantasy story. The world building even in the first few pages is done so wonderfully and is clear I as a reader am so so excited to continue to see what the author decides to do with it. I have always loved dragons and am so excited to see a new YA novel featuring them! They have been to few and far between. I also felt an immediate connection to all the characters and could relate to each individuals in a different way. I also really enjoyed how the characters interacted it felt very real and natural to me. I also have not read this type on YA novel that was in the male point of view in a very long time. It was very refreshing and a done well
