I won a copy of this book from BookishFirst. This book was not what I wanted at all. The book was basically about the aftereffects of a revolution. The dragons just seemed like an extra bit thrown in to make it a fantasy novel. I enjoyed the characters and learning about their histories and relationships. Lee and Annie's like/love/hate relationship got a bit old at times, but I guess that happens when you have known someone for so long. I am not sure how the author is going to write two more books in this series. I suppose the war will continue, the Pythians will retaliate for the death at the end, and perhaps we will get to read about New Pythos. I look forward to seeing how Annie's character grows.
