THIS WAS SO GOOD!! A wonderful foundation and start to a series that has soooo much potential.
I’ll be honest, for the first few hundred pages I felt conflicted. It felt a little slow, but was interesting enough that I pushed through - and I am so glad that I did! The last 100/150 pages really read like a 5 star for me! I understand the build up and foundation necessary for much of the book in order to accomplish everything it did at the end. So much emotion and suspense!
I am ecstatic to continue this series. I need the rest of the books to be published, like, yesterday.
This story follows two dragon riders who are competing to be the best, essentially. This world is beyond interesting, and the politics are actually intriguing enough to keep me hooked (which is hard to do with that sort of thing), and I can already tell that this series will improve with each released book. I definitely recommend!
