I am ADDICTED to this story! Do you love teen love triangles set in a world full of political intrigue, revolution, and DRAGONS?? Then this is the book for you! It's Game of Thrones meets Divergent. I gobbled this up in one sitting. One aspect that I especially loved how friendship develops between two women who are in love with the same guy. Instead of pitting them against each other, the author allows them to develop a real friendship based on mutual trust and support. This is feminism! SO MUCH happens in the first book - we follow the characters through so much development and plot - I can’t wait to see what they go through in the rest of the series. My only complaint is that because I got this as an ARC, I got to read it early, which means I have to wait EVEN LONGER for the next book in the series!
