Training School + Dragons + Underdog Characters = PERFECTION

Wow! Those first 50 pages were amazing. At first, I thought it was a little confusing since we're thrown into the world. The prologue sets up the situation, but I was still confused by the societal hierarchy and new order. But things cleared up pretty fast as we got to meet all the students at the training academy. I absolutely love Annie. I love underdog stories, especially where female characters grow into confident fierce fighters and protectors. And I think that's exactly what we're going to see with Annie. And who doesn't love a little romance too? I'm hoping Annie and Lee's romance will be angsty and heartwarming.
