I love books about dragons and this one sounds like a humdinger! First you have a society destroyed and being rebuilt as a meritocracy so it doesn't matter who your family is, just what abilities do you possess that can benefit all. Throw in adversity and impossible choices and who knows where this will go...very intriguing!!
