I thoroughly enjoyed the first look at Fireborne. I really appreciated that there was some elevated vocabulary and that the story begins really quickly. It didn't take long at all for me to care about Lee and Annie and what is going to become of their relationship. I thought the cover art was attention-catching and bright, and I'd like to read more to find out how Annie continues to adjust to her new position of power and whether or not Lee decides to seek revenge.
