Fireborne quickly establishes rivalry and romance among the candidates for the Fourth Order. The four winners, Lee, Annie, Cor and Power have complicated relationships in a country that seems unstable. I'm most intrigued by the dragon rider in the crowd who quizzes Annie about her origins, and about Lee's, and can't wait to see it plays out - there's already so much at stake.
