What fantasy book lover doesn't enjoy dragons - especially when people can ride them? An old order of lineage has been replaced with a government one where people test on skills and talent and orphans Lee and Annie are the cream of the crop, the Dragonriders. But while Annie is a true success story of realignment, rising from serfdom to ride a dragon, Lee is a member of the old order in disguise trying to work his way back up to what would have been his birthright. Enjoyable so far, and interesting to see the relationship and future for and between Lee and Annie.
