The cover art perfectly conveys the story that is contained within the pages. I am not usually a fan of YA fantasy, but Fireborne may be a novel that can change all that. I do see a little bit of some YA fantasy novels that have come before, like Red Queen and Red Rising, but it is my hope that the author will add a twist to Fireborne to make it unique. My first impression is that this is a novel that will gain attention from both YA fantasy readers and those who like a good, solid story with interesting main characters.
