Wow. This book is beautiful inside and out, and beautifully written as well. Erin French's storytelling is so moving, you really feel like you are right there on her journey with her. I love nothing more than a memoir that takes you from rock bottom to redemption and this is one you shouldn't miss. Her story is filled with trauma, heartache, addiction, belonging, persevering, friendship, family and most of all being true to herself and her dreams. I am so happy for where her and her mom's story end up.

A love story to food, friendship, messy family and dreams created and realized. I love how she didn't give up on her dreams and vision for what her future could be. This is one that will stay with me for a while. All I want to do now it take a road trip to Freedom, Maine and visit her lovely restaurant, The Lost Kitchen, and meet Erin and the women of Waldo.
