This book at first glance seems like it is going to be a Glass Castle but she becomes a chef rather than a writer. If that's the case, I am all for it because I loved that book. I really appreciate the author's writing style and the mixture of crass with elegance. It is clear even from the bit I got to read that food and eating have been important parts of the author's life since childhood and I will be curious to see that theme continue through the book.
