As someone who spent many years working in the restaurant industry, I really appreciated the first chapter and could relate to it. I was hooked on this author’s writing from the beginning. I was really drawn to her descriptions of the foods served in her father’s diner. I will admit the whole part about her cats deeply saddened me to the point where I almost felt like I should discontinue reading. Overall, I believe I would highly recommend this one.
