I didn't care for the language, but definitely craving donuts now

I didn't find a lot in this book that I wanted to continue reading about. The author's story seems rather sad -- though I'm sure it's uplifting in the end, since it's a memoir -- and I don't love to read nonfiction. Now I'm super hungry with all the mentions of homemade doughnuts, meatloaf, and .... well, better stop there.
