First, I love the cover. Second, in the seventeen pages of the First Impression reading, we are exposed to Erin Elizabeth’s truth of growing up in Freedom, Maine. There is laughter as she tells about her experience in church as a ten-year-old. There is pain as she writes about being pregnant at twenty-one and her dad’s disappointment for not having a son. I want to learn more about this gifted writer.
