This book has an excellent start that I feel will be very nostalgic for anyone and everyone who has worked in a restaurant. Although I was a waitress and not a cook, I felt an immediate kinship with Erin French when she described the feeling of finally having a rush die down allowing her a moment to sit and go to the bathroom for the first time in hours. Although I am not entirely sure what to expect going forward, I like Erin's voice and I would like to read more.
