This story is so much more than a romance. It's about family, both biological and found, the power of friendships, magic, love, and finding and believing in yourself. It's quirky and funny and I can't wait for the next one in the series!

Lucky is convinced that she's cursed; she seems to being bad luck to almost everyone she comes in contact with. Because of this, she's avoided a serious relationship (except for that one time when she tried and it just didn't work out because of her bad luck). She does have a few people in her life that seem immune to her bad luck- her best friend Gwen and Gwen's cute kids, her mom, and her three godmothers. So, when her godmothers ask her for a BIG favor, she can't say no. Even when she finds out the big favor is to fake marry the guy who got away.

Lucky has always had a place in Ransom's heart, even with the way her bad luck gave him a very public negative reputation. And he will do anything for their shared godmothers. However, he knows something that Lucky doesn't- these aren't just any godmothers, these really are fairy godmothers, and they need help to re-energize their hometown, Ever After, which is running out of magic, and they believe Lucky and Ransom are just the two to help.
