After reading the preview, I was so looking forward to reading this magical romance. The premise was promising. I thought it would be the perfect pandemic read, light and airy, magical but true. But, the book did not deliver for me. Once I found out what the problem between the two main characters entailed, my suspension of disbelief was over. It was such a silly thing to fall out over. Do people even gossip about that? My goodness! I kept going, but I never felt good about that book after that moment. I don't recommend it to anyone. I won't read any more of the series. Not sure what to do with the cute little jar of Petunia's fairy dust I received along with the book. No magic in the story, so probably no magic in the bottle, either. I love the cover. It's whimsical and portrays what I thought the story would be about. Too bad the contents didn't live up to it.
