This book was everything I wanted and more. The writing is easy to follow and really great references (Harry Potter included). The story follows a young girl, Lucky, who thinks her future is set when her ironically bad luck always gets in the way, including being with the love of her life, Ransom. Thankfully, they both have Godmothers who always save the day. It's a beautiful love story that has incredibly lessons such as girls being the heroine and needing no man to save her, to loving yourself just as you are. I loved the characters from beginning to end and how they develop around each other. You learn a lot from the characters and grow with them as they understand the power of love and the importance of family. This book is really a page turner and the love between Ransom and Lucky is so beautiful and sexy. The author made sure to describe every detail of their love and I will totally reread this incredible novel. The end, I assure you, will make you cry. LOVED IT.
