This was such a great book. I loved how the fairy tale world aspect was brought into the love story between Lucky and Ransom. I think at some point in our lives we all feel like Lucky. When several things go wrong back to back we all sorta feel unlucky. Lucky always felt like she was cursed, because wherever she went bad things happened. Could she get over her fear of being "unLucky" in order to give love a chance?
Lucky has three meddling fairy godmothers who live in the enchanted town of Ever After, Missouri. She shares those godmothers with Ransom Payne, someone she gave her heart to years ago. Now, to keep Ever After from loosing it's magic, the godmothers come up with a solution. Have Lucky and Ransom put on a fake wedding to bring more couples to Ever After and have love flourish the magic and save the town.
Ransom always loved Lucky, but a mishap in college that deemed him "The Boy Who Missed" has always stuck with him. Seeing Lucky again brings back those old feelings, but can he move on and become the man she deserves? This book is full of magic, love, friendship, and family. With some romance added in I would say this is the perfect book.
