This book is laughter, adult emotions, and a sparkle of magic. I like that the characters learn to accept themselves and others the way that they are, and love them despite some uncertainty. I liked that it had the feeling of forbidden love, while taking into account new age ideas. I found myself wishing I was in the book because I felt so connected to the characters. The plot is really good, it made me laugh a little and cry a little and learn a little. It was a little bit of everything.
Loved that while in a fairytale setting where the prince usually saves the princess, this time the princess saved herself and others, while also learning that there was nothing wrong with her. I give it only 4 stars instead of 5 because it was lacking a bit of romantic moments for me, although I did love the moments that were in the book. Overrall, I enjoyed it and will probably reread for comfort.
