Loved
We. Need. More. Modern. Day. Casual. Magic. Because this totally rocked!
The fake dating trope/fake relationship trope? Yes please.
Magic? Yeah.
This is the type of book that’s comforting and low-staked after reading a really intense fantasy series or horror novel, you know?
This story is the equivalent of a perfectly toasted sandwich. And no, I will not be elaborating on what that means.
One problem that I encountered is that the writing was sometimes TOO simple. At times, the writing read like middle grade, if I were to be completely honest and transparent.
My only other main issue with this story is the characters. I love to read not just for the story, but for the characters as well. I just didn’t feel attached enough to any of them in this story. I wasn’t necessarily rooting for any of them, just glad with the ending, if that makes sense?
Still, it was overall a creative story and so warm and so cute.
