If you're looking for a lighthearted romantic comedy, consider Fairy Godmothers, Inc! It was a quick and fun little read that follows Lucky Fujiki, who, contrary to what her name might make you believe, is not lucky whatsoever. Her godmothers convince her to go through with a fake marriage to promote their town, Ever After.

I'm a sucker for magical realism, and I absolutely loved the godmothers and Ever After. I wish the characters themselves were a little more developed and fleshed out, and after the main character in the book was revealed, it didn't seem all that significant, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I did, however, appreciate all of the comedic elements and world building.

Overall, I enjoyed this one! (I also really liked the cover, I thought it was a great representation of the story). I will definitely keep an eye out for the next installment in this series.
