How can you not love a book about matchmaking godmothers? I must admit that I have a soft spot for old ladies who ship other couples, but then again, who can resist that cuteness? So in a single word, this book was cute. I love the idea of a jinxed female lead who's name is the direct opposite of whatever she does. Lucky is hilarious and also so relatable. The characters I loved. The godmothers made me grin with their antics and the romance made me swoon. Each of the characters are so unique and very entertaining to read.

I also have to talk about the cover, because I am a cover snob. That cover was so cute and so representative of the cute read it is!

Plotwise, it's the same tale of lovers to estranged to lovers again. Which, in this case, I don't mind at all! Saranna DeWylde makes this trope into something new, and hello, I just realized this is only the first book in a new series? If I get these beautiful characters, sign me up!
