After reading just an excerpt of this story, I wanted to keep going. I liked the fairy godmother characters, particularly Petunia (although I found the nicknames a bit confusing; I'm sure it gets better as the story continues). The beginning plot reminded me of Peter Pan, where lack of belief in fairies was causing fairies to die, but this time, lack of belief in love is causing magic to die. Since I love Peter Pan and fairytales, in general, I feel pretty sure I'd like this story. Combine that with humor, and this book is definitely going on my list of books to read.
